About Careland Student Care Centre
Since opening its doors in 1992, Careland Student Care Centre has guided generations of students to become intelligent, inspired citizens. We believe that students thrive in an environment that values their own uniqueness, so we provide support and opportunities for our students to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each student's strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Programmes & Activities
Over time, we’ve designed and adapted programs to meet the high standards of today’s world of education. By providing supportive environments for each age group, we make sure each child receives exactly what they need.
Holistic Education
We believe that education is not limited to academics. Through a series of engaging stories, our students' holistic education is built upon. Issues raised include current events that educate the students on recent news, and life stories that prompt our students to ponder.
Academic Supervision
Our experienced educators are driven by passion and have dedicated more than two decades to coaching students in English, Mathematics, Science and Mandarin. Regardless of how challenging our students may prove to be, our educators, guided by experience after having worked with a myriad of different children, stop at nothing to assist these students on their journeys to self-improvement.
Holiday Activities
During school holidays, we arrange for students to go on field trips in order to cultivate values that cannot always be taught in the classroom. We also conduct safe in-house experiments that allow students to have a better understanding of how the world works, as well as workshops that allow students to engage in tactile learning.
Meals
Meals at Careland are home-cooked and come at no extra cost. The menu is varied and every meal comes with fruits and vegetables that contribute to maintaining a healthy diet.
Outdoor Activities
Studies have shown that energizing breaks play a crucial role in boosting concentration. As a result, outdoor activities are a weekly affair in Careland in order to give students a well-deserved break.
Students are brought to an open space and given free rein on what activities they prefer to engage in, ranging from catching to baseball.
Break Time
During break time, students are allowed to do whatever they like (with the exception of using their mobile phones). Games like chess and carrom are readily available, as well as enriching reading materials like encyclopedias.
